## Requirements and limits

### Set up an agent first

Requirement: At least one supported provider must be installed or configured and authenticated.

Source: https://github.com/pingdotgg/t3code

### Keep the host available for remote access

Requirement: The machine running T3 Code must remain running and reachable over the chosen connection while you work.

Source: https://github.com/pingdotgg/t3code/blob/main/docs/user/remote-access.md

### Permissions depend on the provider

Limitation: New conversations initially default to Full access. Providers implement modes differently; some modes have provider-specific restrictions.

## Example workflows

### Prepare a bug fix for review

- Your input: Repository, reproducible bug and acceptance criterion.
- Possible result: An agent session with a code change and prepared pull request.
- What to check: Check the diff, tests, selected provider and target branch.

### Follow development from a phone

- Your input: Running host, configured connection and a bounded coding task.
- Possible result: A session on the host that is accessible from your phone.
- What to check: Review connection permissions, host project, approvals and results.

## Context

Agents must be authenticated separately. Remote access requires the host to stay on. New conversations start with Full access; available approval modes vary by agent.

Official website, README and user documentation reviewed. Details are based on documentation; installation and remote access still require hands-on verification.
